Stormy weather

In response to popular demand here are some more pictures of the project taken over the last two days during the rainy spell we have had. Upper left shows work on the cement base for the steps leading up to the bar building. Upper right shows our plasterer hard at work in the bathroom and storage area of one of the bedrooms. Middle left depicts the beams and pitch roof of the upper floor of one of the buildings. Middle right is the view from Sally's favourite bedroom out over the unusually rough water. Lower left is the pool awaiting the surrounding decking. Hopefully final posting will not render these descriptions completely misleading.

October 2006

These are the latest photos. The exteriors have not changed much but here one can see the progress which has been made on the interiors both where the bedrooms are concerned as well as the bathrooms. There is also a shot of the pool from the unstairs balacony of the middle building.

Although there is still a bit of work to be done outside, the general appearance of the buildings themselves is unlikely to change much from now on. Most of the work in progress is being done on the pool and inside the buildings; wiring plumbing etc.

Still pending are items such as the porch doors, windows, breezeway shutters, the first floor weather proof deck and septic tanks. Work has yet to start on the grounds due largely to the continued activity of the builder. Cement is still being mixed and traffic in and around the areas to be landscaped is still heavy. Having said that we about to embark on some pruning and preparation acitivities in the area infront of the buildings.
