Railings and Decking

These are the latest pictures and more than anything show the work that has been done on the railings of the balconies and the decks. Barring afew corrections this is almost finished.

On the issue of the braces in the breeze-ways Vicente has decided to go ahead and install these. They can be seen in the last picture here. Their purpose is to add stability to the roof in high winds and personally I think they are a good idea regardless of the fact that they detract a little bit from the appearance of the breeze-ways.

One issue that needs to be resolved is best illustrated by the picture at the top left of this entry. Should the entrance to the bar area be restricted to the gap with the little ramp going up it or should we have a wider entrance stretching all the way to the kitchen?

Vicente has now begun work on the top story front decks which need to be waterproofed. Once these have been done all the decking will be complete.
